Charlotte Swing Dance

Swing Dances

Dancing in the Charlotte area typically includes Lindy Hop, East Coast Swing, Charleston, Balboa, and Blues. We think you’ll find CharlotteSwingDance.com swing dances to be very welcoming to newcomers Dances always include an intro lesson to get new dancers up and dancing. Most dances held on the 2nd Friday.  Our schedule usually adjusts to Saturdays during November - February as we avoid the basketball season at our regular venue, The Cornwell Center, 2001 Selwin Ave, Charlotte, NC 28207

Group Lessons

Just because you can dance doesn't mean you can teach. At CharlotteSwingDance we are both effective teachers and lots of fun!  Our students love our classes and they often fill up early.  Denise has been teaching swing dancing since 2003 and was joined by Tom in teaching in 8-week sessions in 2013.  Together with their love of people, dancing and fun you won't find a better team of Swing Dance teachers in the Charlotte area.

Private Lessons & Events

For those who have schedules that don't work for regular group lessons, we also offer private lessons and host various dance events, teach dance lessons at wedding receptions, dancing at events to add atmosphere, etc.
