SWING DANCE WORKSHOPS

Dance Workshops at King David Christian Conservatory

We will offer Saturday workshops when possible to expand your dance skills.  

Beginning Lindy Hop Saturday, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

We will focus on the Lindy Turn and Lindy Circle

Intermediate Lindy Hop & Charleston moves Saturday, 12:30 - 2:30 PM

You must have taken the beginning Lindy Hop class or be comfortable with doing a Lindy Turn and Lindy Circle to be qualified for this class.  We may mix Charleston moves.

The main goal of this class is to add to your Lindy Hop and Charleston Skills to make your dancing more fun and interesting.

King David Christian Conservatory

2200-B Coronation Blvd, Charlotte,  NC, 28227  

Plenty of free parking.  

Who:

Anyone 11 or over. No child care is available. Children who attend should be there to learn to dance.

• Phone
• Please indicate if you are a Lead (usually guys) or a  Follow (usually gals)
• Indicate which class or classes you want to take.

Cost: 

$25 for each 2-hr workshop (The day of class bring Cash or check made out to Denise Bach)

General

No masks or vaccines have ever been required. 

Bring water bottles.

This is a professional Marley Floor.  You must have dance shoes, hard leather bottom shoes, bowling shoes or you can dance in your socks.  Regular gym shoes will stick to this floor.

Dress casual to stay comfortable and cool. 

We will be switching partners during the workshops.
